If the behaviour is unacceptable when it's directed at you, your friends, or your allies, then it's equally (and I'd argue more) unacceptable when it's engaged in by you, your friends, or your allies
Eight of Ontario’s largest regional governments — including Niagara — will have their leaders appointed by the province instead of elected.
This reduces local accountability & moves decision-making further from the people it affects.
This is not democracy. This is a power grab.

Was literally assigned reading for me for my military history studies. I probably still have the copy somewhere in my stacks of books. (It was unreadable dreck, if anyone cares to know — not a repeat read!)
