Two individuals who entered the province illegally have been located and will be charged under the Public Health Act.
Anyone travelling to PEI must abide by public health measures as per CPHO orders. Anyone who does not adhere to these requirements may be charged.

Charlottetown council just voted unanimously to permanently remove the Sir John A Macdonald statue from Victoria Row. It will go in storage and a decision on its future will be made later.
When you are a journalist you get to see many different worlds and hear many voices. This week was beyond interesting! I reported on email and phone scams.. saw lobster season start.. went to an outdoor class in Mount Stewart and saw some cool equipment for newborns at the QEH.
Dr. Heather Morrison talks to tourism industry. She says people who decide to travel will be focussed on cleanliness and safety, she believes people will be more tentative to travel. Our low rate of total cases helps however. She believes PEI will be chosen bc of safe reputation.
Marketing experts speaking about the 2021 tourism season say important to focus on key audiences: talk of focus more on families- younger upscale families and indulgent independents. Lots of interest in outdoor activities. Also hoping to get more visitors from Newfoundland.
