Teaching core connections to my two ela classes...one of which is our ese inclusion class. My take away from this week is simple, raise the bar and children will rise to it. Each at their own pace some in their own way but rise they will. Stay tuned for writing sample tomorrow

I had a great time teaching core connections again today. Tomorrow we review it again. Thursday. I release them on their own. This will tell me who owns vs rents the writing process and determine the next steps in teaching.

This student could not write a sentence a few weeks ago. He came up with this sentence on his own and wrote it without any assistance from me. Yes, even the double s in grass. I am so proud of him and can't wait to see what he accomplishes tomorrow.
