The plane was a Bombardier CRJ-700 Regional Jet with 60 souls on board.

No US citizens were on the final five US military flights out of Afghanistan, Gen. McKenzie says.
"That activity ended probably about 12 hours before our exit. Although we continued our outreach... none of them made it to the airport," McKenzie said.
