💙 What do you love most about your job?⁠

💬 I love meeting new people every day and being part of special events. One of my favourite experiences has been the Santa Bus, it’s such a fun way to connect with the community and see how much joy it brings, especially to families and kids.⁠

💙 What made you decide to apply for a role?⁠
⁠
💬 I wanted a new challenge and the opportunity to try something completely different from hospitality. I was ready to step out of my comfort zone and learn new skills, and GNE felt like the right place to do that. ⁠

💬 Life at GNE has been life-changing. I’ve grown both personally and professionally, and I’ve made friends for life along the way. It’s a really supportive and welcoming environment.⁠

Some of our drivers volunteer at Sunderland Soup Kitchen throughout the year, driving the mobile homeless support horse box through Sunderland, ensuring that support is provided to those who need it ❤️

Santa's team of elves also got involved last night, swapping wrapping presents for serving meals in the Soup Kitchen! 🍲

It was great to get involved with the incredible work that Sunderland Community Soup Kitchen do and lovely to bring joy to the local community with the Santa Bus 👏

It was an absolute delight to meet Molly and her family this morning. We had a tour of the Santa Bus, a brand new bus and went through the bus wash too!
