❤️ Happy Father's Day to all the dads, grandads, and father figures who give their time, support, and dedication to grassroots football, enjoy your special day. ⚽
😥This is 9-year-old Viktor, who plays for South Coast Ballers FC Ultras U10s, alongside his dad, Kamil. Last weekend, they travelled together to a football tournament. While there, Viktor’s family suffered the most unimaginable heartbreak when his dad, Kamil, tragically passed away in the early hours of the morning.
Just hours later, carrying pain no child should ever have to feel, Viktor made the brave decision to step onto the pitch for his first match of the day. Then he did something nobody there will ever forget — he scored an incredible 20-yard free kick, earning the U10 Magic Moment Award before anyone even knew the heartbreak he was carrying inside.
What Viktor showed that day was more than bravery. It was courage, strength, resilience, and love for the dad who cheered him on every single week.
The team went the entire weekend unbeaten, playing for Viktor, for Kamil, and for each other.
Kamil was one of the funniest, kindest, and most selfless people you could ever meet — a devoted husband, an incredible dad, and the heart of our football family. He made everyone feel welcome, always had people laughing, and gave everything for his children.
The club and wider community are now raising money to support Viktor, his siblings, and their mum through the darkest time imaginable — helping with funeral costs and supporting the children’s future, something Kamil worked tirelessly every day to provide.
If you can donate or simply share this post, it would mean the world to this family. ❤️
Kamil, you will always be part of our team. We promise we’ll look after yours. ⚽❤️

🚨🗣️NEW: Thierry Henry on Germany 2:1 win against Ivory Coast:
“Football can be cruel, but today it was downright robbery. Ivory Coast didn’t lose because Germany were better; they lost because football doesn’t reward dominance, it rewards moments. And when that moment arrived, Adingra treated it like a hot potato. At this level, you cannot miss chances that simple. The goal was staring at him, begging to be touched, and somehow he found a way to turn gold into dust.
For most of the game, Ivory Coast had Germany chasing shadows. They controlled the rhythm, won the battles, dictated the tempo. Germany looked like passengers on a bus Ivory Coast were driving. Kessié should probably be leaving this match with two goals and the headlines, not with regrets and a defeat.
But this is where elite football separates itself. While Ivory Coast were wasting opportunities, Julian Nagelsmann was playing chess. Every substitution shifted the board. Every decision changed the momentum. Undav was magnificent, a problem Ivory Coast never solved. In fact, I was asking myself one question for 75 minutes: why is Havertz still on the pitch? The moment Nagelsmann changed things, Germany came alive.
That’s the difference. One team controlled the game, the other controlled the outcome. Ivory Coast wrote the story, Germany wrote the ending.
And football only remembers the ending.”
🚨 Ivory Coast could not believe what happened in the 87th minute against Germany.
Simon Adingra was clean through with a golden opportunity to win the match, but instead of hitting it first time, he took an extra touch. 😱❌
That touch proved costly. Leon Goretzka recovered brilliantly to make the tackle and keep Germany alive.
Seven minutes later, Deniz Undav struck the winning goal to break Ivorian hearts after a heroic performance against one of Europe's giants. 😭
A moment that changed the game completely — and one Adingra may never forget. 🥶🇨🇮🇩🇪

This is the world we deserve. Not the one that the media and politicians use to divide us.
Maybe the most powerful thing about the World Cup isn’t who wins the trophy. It’s millions of people discovering that the stranger they were taught to fear turns out to be a friend they just hadn’t met yet. That’s the kind of thing that restores faith in humanity. ❤️🌎⚽

Seb the defender scores his first goal at Old Trafford ! 👏
This is Sebastian who plays in defence for our team , he is very solid at the back , being the warrior of the team and making sure nothing gets near our goal. More known for his speed, breaking up opposition play and endless workrate. Seb had never scored a goal for the club but managed to save his first for a tournament at Manchester United’s ground, Old Trafford!
What a place to score your first goal !
Keep up the hard work! ⚽️👏💪

“Dragged kids out of school. Worth every penny to see their faces. Still cheaper than a two week all inclusive in Benidorm in the school hols”.
Fair play! 👏🏴
