@herosradiance They weren’t on vaction. He+Amy already knew the rescue place as they had a dog, who died last year, from it. Mark saw Sandy on the rescue centres IG back in Nov + they decided to adopt her. In March this year they were finally allowed to fly over and get her. 24 hour trip lol!

But I’m also really proud of her for thinking “this is not right, I don’t want this and you’re not listening to me” and despite her feelings for him she ended it on those basis. That’s amazing, she has such a great head on her shoulders, I’m so relieved!!! (And proud)

I feel bad that she experienced this and it sucks she didn’t tell me at the time, but I do also get why as I was working in a secondary school and I know the laws on safeguarding kids etc so I would have to report it to her school get the DSL involved.

Things my now 17 year old daughter has told me about that happened in her first and only relationship:
He sent her a d*** pic.
He tried to convince her to send nudes back.
They were together for a year aged 14-15.
This classes as distributing CP.

It’s 2026! I managed to teach my daughter about consent, to teach her about thinking about what SHE is comfortable with and uncomfortable with, taught her that her voice is valid, that she TOO should never push a sexual activity in a relationship
