Shooting portrait photography with an 85mm f1.4 prime lens is wild… in the best way.
It’s not just a perfect focal range to get flattering portraits, it also allows you to take some beautiful close ups and get that creamy background that makes your photos look like a painting.
I can’t wait to take this one on a photography walk around Bali soon. The cinematic street photography I can get with this one around the stunning locations of the island can be mind blowing! But of course, I’ll record a vlog to document it all for you. 🥰
The best part? This is a budget prime lens. It costs a fraction of what other 85mm lenses go for. So if you’re craving to get a prime lens, you may want to check this one out.
I’ve just uploaded a full review with tons of photos and video examples for you to judge by yourself, check it out below in the comments!👇🏼

Editing portrait photography is something everyone struggles with at the beginning (me included when I started).
It’s so easy to overdo the edits and make our models look tiiiiny bit weird.. 😅
So in today’s video, I point at the 9 WORST habits everyone has when editing portraits and how to fix them!
You can find the link to the video in the comments. I hope you find it useful! 🫶🏼
When I moved to London to become a photographer, I didn’t even speak English.
I was sharing a hostel room with 15 strangers, hugging my camera bag at night so it wouldn’t get stolen. I had no job, no money, zero clients, no backup plan, and so many fears I wouldn’t allow myself to talk about loud as nobody supported me with my decision and of course, I wanted to prove everyone wrong. 🙃
After too many dramas and stories that I will keep telling you on my channel (including being homeless once)… I made it work.
I built a freelance photography career from scratch and after a few years of shooting full-time, I learned to monetise my photography skills online so I could travel with my camera.
Now I live in Bali, working remotely, doing what I love, and teaching other creatives like you how to do it too. 💕
In my new video, I open up about so many of those struggles and fears that came with building this path. Not to make it about me but to help you if you’re dreaming of doing the same.
If you’re scared to go freelance or feel stuck right now… this one’s for you. 🫶🏼

You don’t need a graphic designer or a huge budget to make your photography brand look expensive. 🫶🏼
What you need is intention.
When you treat your photography business like a premium service (even if you’re just starting), people feel that energy and they trust you much more.
In this today’s video, I’m breaking down:
• What actually makes a brand feel “high-end”.
• The biggest mistakes beginner photographers make.
• How to build a strong photography brand by yourself without design skills.
• How to design your own assets and templates.
• And what I did to make my own brand stand out from the start.
I know the word branding can feel overwhelming, but trust me, you can do this if you follow along with me in this video. You will look professional instantly even if you’re just starting out. 🥰

Many people say, “I wish I had more time to practise photography.” And I get it. Life is A LOT and going out to shoot isn’t always easy.
But here’s the truth: You can practise and seriously improve your photography without even leaving your house.
Practise is a mindset, not a location. So if you’re waiting for the “perfect moment” to practise… you’re missing hundreds of imperfect ones that could teach you more.
My latest video teaches you all of this, even if you’re using just your phone to level up your photography skills.

Does anybody know where I can get the #raybanmeta glasses in Bali? 🥺 I want them to record POV of my photoshoots for my YouTube channel. I can’t seem to find them anywhere in the island! 😢 #rayban#meta
