I am so sorry to ask this question. I’m from the United States. What is NHS I am a nurse and what you have described is not acceptable. It’s on the borderline of patient abuse. Pain Management is one of the first things were taught when we go to school. Pain subjective and only the patient knows if they are in pain. So we must be vigilant and keep the patient as pain-free as possible. Expecting the patient to be grateful for minimum careis by far the worst care anyone can give their patience!

FEMA did the exact same thing to Victoria, Texas when Hurricane Harvey came through. They denied assistance then came back on the pretense of reevaluating their decision but instead of offering grants they offered SBA loans. Loans from the government at a low interest rate but they took a deed out on your property and if you couldn’t afford to pay them back in the future they would have the option to take your property! Yes FEMA walked in and walked away with a lot of deeds because what else were people to do! There are still many people burdened by the payments of those loans and they are still living in Victoria, which is still in the path of future storms! I know this because my husband and I were one of their victims!!!
