If you've noticed a lot of conservatives contradicting things they used to say or stand for, it's because they've been sitting around thinking, "I'll lose my audience if I don't go where I see them heading." And that, to their shame, determines what they say next.
I think that Trump renaming Lake Ontario to Lake America is pointless and stupid.
Wanna know what else I think is dumb?
The fact left-wingers are triggered about this after they spent the last decade plus renaming sports teams, public schools and universities, streets and highways, food and condiment brands, and redefining half the dictionary altogether.

My message is still the same as it was when I wrote this Bee headline at the end of 2020.
Even when living under the nightmare freakshow of wokeness, BLM, COVID hysteria, and the election of a corpse president, we still have it better than almost everyone who has ever walked the earth. We still live in the greatest country in the history of civilization.
We have much to do, much to fight, but also much to be thankful for.
Be thankful for your blessings. I don’t say this to make you accept injustice or decline. I say this because I want a joyful life for you. Thankfulness is the key to happiness. Get that in place—then go fight the bad guys.
A bunch of folks are asking me what I think about the Andrew Wilson/Candace Owens debate.
I don't usually weigh in on that type of stuff nowadays but I figure it's pretty important.
So, here's my take:
Dexter Taylor, a software engineer, father, and Brooklyn native is currently serving a 10 year sentence in prison for exercising his Second Amendment rights.
The state of New York targeted him for building his own firearms in his own home as a hobby using parts he bought legally online.
He had no criminal record.
In April 2022, a joint ATF/NYPD SWAT team kicked in his apartment door at dawn while he was lying in bed listening to an audiobook.
They swept into his home with guns drawn and seized the rifles and pistols he had assembled.
Ghost guns, they called them. Unlicensed under New York’s absurd and tyrannical rules.
He never sold a single gun.
He never took them out of his home.
He never even fired them.
Yet, New York labeled him a “violent felon."
Then came the sham trial.
Judge Abena Darkeh looked Dexter and his lawyer in the eye and said:
“Do not bring the Second Amendment into this courtroom. It doesn’t exist here. So you can’t argue Second Amendment. This is New York.”
That was it. The Constitution itself was banned from the courtroom.
The jury convicted him on a laundry list of possession charges.
And in May 2024, that same judge slammed him with the maximum: ten years in a maximum-security prison.
Not the minimum. Ten full years.
While actual violent criminals walk the streets every day.
Dexter is still locked up. Still fighting. Still calling it what it is: a political prosecution designed to send a message to every American who dares exercise their rights in a blue state.
The appeals are moving. The legal fund is still open.
If the government can do this to a clean-record software engineer for manufacturing arms in his own home, they can do it to anyone.
This is about more than “ghost guns.”
It's about whether the Second Amendment still means anything.
Dexter Taylor is a political prisoner. Free him.

If you’re worried about the Gen Z vote don’t treat them with kid gloves.
They’re old enough now to know when they’re getting played. Just point out the obvious:
- Republicans didn’t pump you full of psych drugs and try to convince you you were in the wrong body, Democrats did that.
- Republicans didn’t shut down their states for months during COVID and derail your life, Democrats did that.
- Republicans didn’t put you $150K into debt for a worthless degree, Democrats did that.
- Republicans didn’t let in millions of illegals over 4 years causing housing to skyrocket, Democrats did.
- Democrats aren’t trying to bring down prices via deregulation, deportations and rooting out fraud, Republicans are doing that.
- Democrats didn’t make it easier to start a family by permanently expanding the child tax credit, Republicans did that.
- Democrats aren’t making your community safer by locking up violent criminals, Republicans are doing that.
These are all demonstrably true statements that will do far more to win over young people than promising them the moon, especially when we all know the world doesn’t move that fast.
Stop tiptoeing around them like they’re children.
They’ll appreciate it.
The only real way for the federal government to “reduce costs” is to drastically cut government programs, cut taxes, massively reduce spending & stop printing money. It’s not that things are expensive - the government has devalued the purchasing power of your hard earned dollar.
I will never understand how the people shrieking about "toxic masculinity" don't see that the most toxic men are those stealing opportunities and privacy from women and girls.
One of the most thought provoking speeches I've seen in a while.
@Miss_Snuffy on how raising a generation to see the world through oppressors and the oppressed is changing the West.
If you don't have time, bookmark it. It's worth every second.
WATCH:
The #1 factor that determines whether you succeed in life is you. It isn’t “the patriarchy.” It isn’t the Jews. It isn’t the Muslims. It isn’t the billionaires. It isn’t the foreigners. It isn’t white people. It isn’t black people. It's time for us to move on from victimhood culture in America.
You know why Democrats manage to get through unpopular legislation? Because their base demands it of them, as opposed to giving up by self importantly telling one another, “it’s just a show vote.”
They push and they push and they keep pushing until they win.
So I don’t want to hear a single Republican tell me that the Save Act can’t be done. Because if they can get through something like Obamacare that majority hated, Republicans should be able to get through a piece of legislation that around 85% of the American public backs.
Democrats would not stand up and clap for a little black boy who is undergoing cancer treatment because President Trump was the one who wanted to honor him.
Again, if you take your morality cues from people who are morally bankrupt, you are not an authority on anything.
I don't know who on the right needs to hear this...
Left wing media is always going to tell you that “if you keep doing things we don’t like, you'll lose in the midterms.”
It's a tactic, not journalism.
Stop trusting the analysis of people who hate you.
I am really at my wit's end as to how few people on the Right understand how the Information War works.
Almost all of the responses to my post below are a variation of "Well, Democrats won't answer the question."
I DON'T CARE.
Winning the Information War is about staying on the offensive. Right now we are on the defensive constantly responding to outrageous allegations about ICE.
In doing so, the DEMOCRATS FRAME THE DEBATE IN THEIR FAVOR.
However, if all of us are going on the offensive with the below question, WE ARE FRAMING THE DEBATE IN OUR FAVOR, and swaying public opinion.
The answer is irrelevant. Framing the debate by the right question is everything.
How can so many people on the Right NOT UNDERSTAND THIS?
GRRRRRR....😡
