What a day for a volunteer build. 👏 to all the amazing volunteers who helped out, learning new skills, dusting off old ones and having a lovely time. 3 6m raised beds and 3 composting bays built in a day for @LauristonFarm 🙌🛠❤️

On Saturday, @LauristonFarm in Essex hosted a visit from Home Secretary @PritiPatel, alongside our Chair @BlondelCluff
The project received £10k from @TNLComFund to make green spaces accessible, helping to improve wellbeing, reduce isolation and connect with nature.

Barney in the barn! Let me introduce one of our newer recruits to the team. Farm dog, Barney, is a Working Beardie from a farm near Hay-on-Wye. He's 12 months old and is a hugger, what else can I say? @ Lauriston Farm https://t.co/LmZvYMu9cU

Fancy coming to see us at the farm? Our open days highlight our conservation, education and care initiatives, and they also give you a chance to buy biodynamic ingredients for a Sunday roast like no other...
Thanks to all for a very successful, socially distanced / Zoom based AGM. I suspect the Lauriston Farm barn was a tad more blustery than at home though! Great to see so many faces, both familiar and new - and we hope to host more of you on the farm for next year's meeting 🤞
A great focus group yesterday with @LukeOwen86 from @covcampus looking at the social impact of our #communityfarm. Looking forward to seeing the outcomes of the research. 🙂
Thanks for hosting today @LauristonFarm#Essex. Productive and fascinating discussions about the social impacts the #biodynamic farm is having amongst the local community.
Look forward to connecting at your upcoming @ORFC session in January 2020!
