He’s had two surgeries & taken off of a ventilator after being shot in the back. The family says during the shooting, Mike ran off the bus, but ran back on to try and help. That’s when he was shot.

🚨MORE: Coach Sims read two notes written by D'Sean. One of them was titled, "Bigger than me." In it, D'Sean talks about the time a young man came up to him and said, "I want to be just like you." He says it was at that moment he realized, it was "bigger than me."

🚨MORE: The family's lawyer, Michael Haggard held a press conference. He is a personal friend of the Perry family, his son played football with D'Sean at Gulliver Prep in FL. He called D'Sean "a tremendous light."
