Chisato Kunimoto, CEO of Sincerely Inc. and Representative Director of Women AI Initiative Japan.
The theme of this seminar is:
“What Does It Mean to Be an ‘Innovator’ in an Era Where AI Writes Code?
— The Meaning of Learning Programming Has Changed.”

In an age where AI can take on many tasks, people need the ability to think about what to create and why, then bring those ideas to life together with AI.
This seminar will introduce the skills children will need in the age of AI, and why STEM education can help open up their future.
Serving as an Ambassador for Entrepreneurship Promotion for Japan’s Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT), Ms. Kunimoto offers a valuable opportunity to hear directly about the learning children will need in the age of AI.

Exhibition:
A concept spacesuit made using Nishijin-ori, which was exhibited at the Osaka Expo in August 2025. Named “Mr. Karman,” this project combines traditional Japanese craftsmanship with a near-future vision, attracting attention both in Japan and internationally. The initiative continues in collaboration with institutions such as Kyoto University and Gifu University of Medical Science.

Workshop:
Let’s Learn About Spacesuits—Past and Future
From NASA’s Apollo-era spacesuits to today—more than half a century later—various private companies are now developing and designing their own spacesuits. How have they evolved, and what kind of structures do they have? Through slides and videos, participants will gain a deeper understanding of these questions.

宇宙に行くならどんな柄の宇宙服が着たい？
このワークショップでは、宇宙飛行士のぬいぐるみに好きな色や柄を書いてオリジナルの宇宙服人形を作成してもらいます。自分用でもいいですし、好きな人に着てもらいたいデザインでも。最後に顔写真を入れれば完成です！（写真はご自宅でお願いいたします）

展示ワークショップ
展示：2025年8月に大阪万博にて展示した、西陣織を使ったコンセプト宇宙服。Mr.Karmanという名前です。日本の伝統工芸と近未来を融合させた取り組みは国内外から注目を集めました。京都大学や岐阜医療科学大学らと取り組みを続けています。

ワークショップ：今までとこれからの宇宙服について知ろう
NASAのアポロ時代からの宇宙服・そこから半世紀以上たってやっといろいろな民間企業が独自で宇宙服を開発・デザインするようになりました。どんな進化をしているのか、どんな構造になっているのか？をスライドや動画を使って皆さんに知ってもらいたいです。
