Lavender Lit is a community-focused used bookstore + library specializing in books about marginalized identities and experiences. Shipping anywhere in the USA!
Hi #booktwt! 🌈 We are a used bookstore dedicated to books about marginalized/underrepresented identities and experiences. Our storefront is in Southeastern Massachusetts, and we just launched our online store, shipping all over the country! (https://t.co/7p5KmEZVkR) 🧵
We will be closed today (Saturday 6/29) and will be open tomorrow 11-7. We appreciate our community’s understanding as we navigate the trials of today’s world!
Due to a combination of operating costs and limitations of the small space, Lavender Lit has decided to transition to a combination virtual/pop-up model. This will allow us to focus more on cultivating community, expanding our collection, and increasing benefits for members.
Since it is the end of the month, we have a quick turnaround time, and will be closing our doors tomorrow evening. We invite you to join us for our last in person day tomorrow (Sunday 6/30), with a 20% discount on all our stock as a thank you for being part of our first adventure

I’m baffled every time I see people post complaints like “there are so few sapphic books.”
There are THOUSANDS! You just have to look in the right places instead of sticking to Big 5-published books.
Check out the Sapphic Book Bingo to get you started: https://t.co/EoQLXr0Dgs
The only thing we love almost as much as books? Stickers! Here's some of our favorites from our selection of dozens of sticker choices available in store and online at https://t.co/7p5KmEZVkR
I have a story in this charity anthology for Palestine! It’s about twin brothers, familial ostracizing, codependency and necromancy and was inspired by Shirley Jackson’s We Have Always Lived in the Castle. All the proceeds go to the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund!
