looking at few discourses coming up, i feel like it's inevitable to fight once in a while, even the bestest of friends do, so obv, in a whole group with people from different cultures and nationalities, with a very big language barrier that is the ass translator of twitter, fights will happen, but the thing is not the unavoidable fights, it's how we always go back to the status quo, we are all different (thankfully), and we do what we think aligns better with our values, no matter the stance, i still see a pretty united boycott, many not spending and others not loggin in too, we keep protesting along with it, one fight or two wont break this movement, we all have a very clear goal and i still see everyone fighting for it even after two months, outsiders are not amazed by it for nothing, we fall and then we continue #bringvalkoback

The biggest issue with Shaw’s birthday design was never the design itself. If PPG genuinely believed there was nothing wrong with it, they could’ve simply explained the concept and clarified that there was no intention to mock or disrespect Shaw mains.

But instead, they quietly changed it after players complained, which suggests they knew something about it wasn’t working, while still refusing to acknowledge the criticism or apologize.

Once again, the real problem is always about the communication. And honestly, this goes way beyond Shaw. It’s been one of PPG’s biggest problems with LADS too: they have a terrible relationship with player feedback, and somehow never seem interested in actually improving it.

So yeah, let’s absolutely never stop kicking their ass about it.

You can stay peaceful, keep waiting, and keep hoping, for a year, ten years, however long it takes. And maybe one day, if your prayers are answered, if Valko does come back, if you’re still waiting, if you still love him by then, maybe you’ll finally get what you’ve been hoping for.

But everything we’re talking about right now is an if. It’s all ifs.

Maybe you’re okay with the possibility that IF Valko NEVER comes back, life simply goes on. And that’s fine. But for me, this isn’t something I can just shrug off as “oh well.”

None of us who still want to see Valko in the game ever wanted to ruin this company. The company ruined its players first. And in the end, some of those players ruined the game, and us along with it. That’s why we can’t just stay quiet and gentle, as if their silence toward us is some kind of peace we’re supposed to enjoy.

まず、今の状況を見て不安になっている人もいると思うけど、まだ何かが終わったわけではありません。

むしろ中国では、9月からネット上の悪質な情報��散や流量操作、ネット暴力などに対する規制がさらに強化される流れになっています。

📅 2026年5月29日

中国の国家網信辦・公安部・文化観光部・市場監督管理総局・広電総局の5部門が、
《互联网信息内容多渠道分发服务管理规定》
を正式に公布しました。

そして、この規定は2026年9月1日から施行されます。 (中国国家认证认可监督管理委员会)

この規定では、ネット上で以下のような行為が明確に問題視されています。

・捏造や憶測によって世論を誤導すること
・ネガティブな話題を意図的に作り、集団対立を煽ること
・虚偽・誤解を招くマーケティング
・閲覧数、クリック数、投票数などの数字を人工的・技術的に操作すること
・大量の同質的なコンテンツを投稿すること
・ネ���ト暴力を組織・扇動・実施・参加・協力すること (中国国家认证认可监督管理委员会)

つまり、「大量のアカウントを使って流量を操作する」「同じ内容を大量に投稿する」「デマや煽動によって対立を作る」といった行為は、今後さらに厳しく管理される方向です。

さらに中国政府は、
《中华人民共和国反网络暴力法（征求意见稿）》
――「反ネット暴力法」の草案を公開しました。

これはまだ成立した法律ではなく、8月28日まで意見募集が行われている段階です。

ただし、ここでも「集中的・継続的な誹謗中傷」「デマ」「憎悪や対立の扇動」「ネット上での嫌がらせ」などをネット暴力として定義し、組織・扇動・教唆した者や、それを支援した者についても責任を問う仕組みが検討されています。 (中国国家认证认可监督管理委员会)

ここが重要です。

5月に公布された新しい規定が、実際に9月1日から施行されます。

なので、9月から突然何もかもが変わるという話ではなく、すでに存在しているネット管理の仕組みに、さらに新しい規制が加わるということです。

また、この規定では、問題のある情報について関係部門が調査し、犯罪の疑いがある場合には公安機関へ移送する仕組みも明記されています。 (中国国家认证认可监督管理委员会)

もちろん、これによって「特定の誰かが必ず処罰される」と断言することはできません。

でも、少なくとも今後は、

「中国国内のネット環境も、悪質なデマ・流量操作・ネット暴力をより厳しく管理する方向に進んでいる」

というのは、少なくとも今確認できる状況です。

だから、今は焦って結論を出す必要はないと思います。

First, just to make my position clear: I absolutely do not support defending the company. Everyone is free to believe that being less aggressive, holding onto hope, and waiting things out is okay. I don’t necessarily think being more aggressive will work, but I don’t think being less aggressive will work any better either.

Now, back to my actual point: I don’t understand why people keep saying Shaw and Valko’s situations are somehow incomparable, and therefore Valko has more reason to be hopeful about his return. The truth is, as long as we’re dealing with the same company, none of us are really that different.

I’ve seen some Valko girls say Shaw’s fight failed because nobody cared, while we have one of the biggest movements in the world, so we HAVE to stay optimistic. But honestly, how is that fundamentally different from some Shaw mains saying when Valko first appeared, “Shaw had years of buildup while Valko came out of nowhere. Special Encounter was unacceptable, but LADS is supposed to have only five LIs”?

It’s just sad. I really don’t understand why these two sides are discriminating against each other when we’re all players who were never properly respected by PPG in the first place. Not to mention Shaw and Valko are both characters I care about.

So no, bringing up Shaw isn’t some attempt to use his suffering to push a narrative. We’ve always been treated like shit. And I’m not going to stop criticizing this company just because acknowledging that history makes people uncomfortable.

This is a CHINESE company. It operates completely different from western companies. For many major CN companies their reputation takes precedent over EVERYTHING. Every. Thing.

This is Asia, if your great grandfather did a mistake on a random Saturday night it will find a way to haunt YOU to this day.

Honor and reputation are very important things here.

Lost money will eventually return and double. The Chinese are good at that. Reputation doesn't.

No reputation = no possibility to make more money or grow in any shape or form.

A reputation hit, stains the name of the one responsible. It will follow them everywhere. You can never escape the stain. No matter even if you shut down the company and start a new one.

And if you want to say we can't get "politics" involved, please just don't join a conversation you can't even understand. No one ever said ANYTHING about politics or embassies.

If a Chinese company has truly broken a law, the CCP will not remove a character or censor the game. They will wipe it off the face of the earth within a day. Like it never existed.

China is not the west.

And if you need a reminder: We already have several sisters even the CDGs themselves call in to the relevant gov bodies and ask. Infold is not guilty of anything. Your precious game is going nowhere. Other than to the pits of hell if they don't bring Valko back soon.

Infold is a billionaire company, has 5 or 6 other games that fill their pockets just fine and is funded by the government FOR INTERNATIONAL EXPORT (The exact thing they are fucking up!). Money loss alone will not make them bend.

In fact, when the CDGs started their mess, Infold barely lost ANY money. Just a slight dip. Yet infold immediately folded (pun intended). The cdg went for the throat with no hesitation.

Reputation.

They got what they wanted. But there's a huge difference. There's was malicious and every single thing was a lie and fabricated. Our is not and will never be.

ずっと思ってるんだけど、恋と深空（他のPPGゲームは2Dのニキをちょっと触ったくらいなのであまり詳しくは語れない）の設計は全然顧客を舐めてなくて、女をメロつかせることに全力だったと感じており、そこが好きだった。

翻って、今のどっちサイドにも無言でそのまま通常運行に戻ろうとする運用はあまりにも客を舐めている。
メインストーリーの遅れも、炎上してからそそくさと無言で��した照明問題も。

意思決定層と制作層で哲学が違うように感じるし、私のような客にとって重要なのは制作層のセンスと哲学だ。

なので何度でも言うが、もし制作チームがPPGを抜けてインディーで何か作ると言うのなら是非私はそれを応援したいし大々的に宣伝してほしい。

About the 6th booth at Gamescom:

If you have any kind of special construction (which I’m quite sure LaDs booths fall under), they need a minimum of 8 weeks notice. 8 weeks ago, Valko was still in the plans. Changes can be made, but any change costs extra, so it’s unlikely they’d do that.

The Early Bird deadline for giving them infos about your booth was February 24 2026, with booth space allocation and the distribution of booth layout plans beginning in spring 2026 (sorry I only found the German flyer for this).

The earliest setup date is August 16 2026, meaning plans for any special constructions had to be submitted by June 21 2026 at the latest.

Valko’s teaser PV was released on June 22nd btw.

At least this might work as hard proof for some that his release wasn’t as rushed as we first assumed (myself from the past included). Unless Infold does shit like this last-minute (trust, they’d be very unpopular at Koelnmesse if they informed them last-minute about such a big booths), I think it’s safer to say they sent them their layout much earlier🤷🏻‍♀️

However, I’m not trying to shit on the hopium (I get it, I really do🥺), but they will most just likely reuse that space differently.

Gamescom might be a great place to announce something, but I highly doubt they would address anything as big as a Valko-return so exclusively at an event that isn’t even in China, even though it is a very global event and it'd be a good way to make global players feel seen!

I’ll gladly hear out any critical arguments, thoughts, and especially corrections regarding my researched deadlines & if things work differently!
And of course, I hope I’m wrong, but please don’t be disappointed if they continue to be radio silent about Valko during Gamescom.

If I didn’t research this incorrectly (please kindly correct me if I did though), the deadlines for special booths apply to everyone.

When you check the page where you can calculate the cost of a booth, it lets you select the date for “until February 2026,” “from February 25, 2026,” and “from July 15, 2026.”

So technically, you could also join rather spontaneously. However, your location and booth size would depend on what’s still available. We can rule out that a company like Infold, which needs quite a bit of space with LaDs + Infinity Nikki, would do that. Plus, it’s more expensive.

If you have Koelnmesse build your stand for you, you can only cancel the construction or make changes up to 6 weeks before the start of construction (so until July 5th). I’m not sure whether they let Koelnmesse handle it or if Infold’s own staff are taking care of it, but I'd say it’s the latter.

But I can only imagine the deadline being even stricter in that case, since it would need to be discussed internally, things would have to be rearranged at Koelnmesse, and they’d probably also need to check whether everything follows protocol. So it only makes sense that they couldn't wouldn't do any changes for their setup.
