Dit is de kern van de islam: de vrouw is er om de lusten van de man te dienen. Haar lichaam, haar wil, haar grenzen — het telt niet.

Het probleem met deze boodschap is niet alleen wat er van vrouwen wordt verlangd, maar vooral wat er over mannen wordt beweerd.

Als een vrouw verantwoordelijk wordt gemaakt voor het voorkomen van zina, overspel of zelfs seksueel geweld door haar man seksueel tevreden te houden, dan verschuift de morele verantwoordelijkheid van de dader naar de vrouw.

Dat is een gevaarlijke redenering. Zelfbeheersing, respect voor grenzen en verantwoordelijkheid voor je eigen daden zijn de verantwoordelijkheid van ieder individu. Een man gaat niet vreemd of pleegt geen geweld omdat een vrouw hem "tekortdeed"; hij doet dat omdat hij daarvoor kiest.

Een ethiek die vrouwen belast met het voorkomen van mannelijk wangedrag, ondermijnt de persoonlijke verantwoordelijkheid die aan de basis van iedere rechtvaardige samenleving zou moeten staan.

Dat is waarom zoveel moslimmannen in het Westen seksueel gefrustreerd en gevaarlijk zijn. Ze groeien op met het idee dat vrouwen hun seksueel moeten dienen.

Deze ideologie is volledig onverenigbaar met onze samenleving, we moeten er zsm vanaf!
