@KollerAtSchool@Eklapatauskas @OWSchoolDist @gcouros Innovation is hard work but it is also fun! Today my students asked me: “ how do you know how to do all these different kinds of paintings?” I said I don’t, this is the first time I’ve ever done this type of painting. You take what you know and go from there.
@BoieJill@Eklapatauskas @OWSchoolDist @gcouros So true because when things get hectic in the classroom it can sometimes be the Squeaky wheels” that get the grease! Let’s NOT let that happen!
@Eklapatauskas @OWSchoolDist @gcouros#owblackhawkpride @OWSchoolDist Instead of wondering if someone is smart, ask yourself in what way that person is smart. Acknowledging other people’s strengths will encourage them and fuel their fire to take more risks in the areas of their passions.
@Eklapatauskas @OWSchoolDist @gcouros I love these words: Exploration, Creativity and Imagination! Words I get to see in action every day in the Art Room! Lucky me!
@chad_eichstadt@Eklapatauskas@gcouros @OWSchoolDist Sometimes teachers lead from the front of the class other times our students learning experiences are improved when we move along side them or simply step out of their way!
These are just a few of the Student’s finished gourd projects from Studio Art Class. After all the drying, scraping, sanding and bleaching they are able to paint them. #owblackhawkpride @OWSchoolDist
Studio art students clean gourds outside so that they can paint on them. Preparing the gourd is not easy but it is an important part of the process!#owblackhawkpride @OWSchoolDist
