Hello everybody! I am Lavinia, I write historical fiction set in late 18th Century and early 19th Century Italy. Currently working on a gothic mystery set in 1820s Milan
Hello everyone!
As some of you already know, I am the author of several historical novels, though I haven’t published anything in English yet. That’s because I usually write and publish in Italian, my native language.
For a long time, I’ve been planning to translate my novels into English, but I’ve always hesitated to take the final step. Sharing my books with an international audience is exciting, but also a little frightening—and I’ve struggled to find a translation that truly does them justice.
Now, after many months, I’ve decided to try again and start working on the English translation of the first book in my time-travel series, set in 18th-century Venice.
As for The Veiled Lady, I’m still working on the Italian version, so you’ll have to wait a bit longer—but I promise it will be worth the wait!
