Thrilled to be on the #BestLawyers list for the fifth year in a row, especially as it corresponds with The Castañeda Firm’s 10-year anniversary. Proud to have spent my career advocating for responsible energy use in Texas!

Enjoyed talking to @DavidWethe for his deep dive into the politically powerful father-daughter team of Tom and Christi Craddick (whose business dealings raise ethical concerns for the TX Railroad Commission). Read more here (subscription may be required): https://t.co/CkRSZvGyqx

A Wharton study estimated that Texas taxpayers were already on the hook for an additional $303 million to $52 million in interest in just the first eight months after the law’s enactment. https://t.co/JtZolEH9Ir
If Texas wants to remain the energy capital of the world, it should rethink its policy of punishing financial firms state lawmakers don't consider friendly enough to the oil and gas industry, I wrote in a column for @HoustonChron (subscription req'd)

If they acknowledge the potential financial impact of climate change, state pension funds and even county governments issuing bonds can be barred from working with them. Not only is this policy bad for the environment. It's also bad business that's costing Texas taxpayers.
Thanks to @MichelleCasady at @TexasLawbook for her excellent coverage of my recent lawsuit against the Public Utility Commission of Texas on behalf of Aspire Power Ventures. (subscription required)
