"Sekolah gratis kok gak diminati?" , pertanyaan yang jawabannya sebenernya udah ada di depan mata.

SD swasta biayanya 4,4x lebih mahal dari SD negeri (Rp 7,1 juta vs Rp 1,6 juta/tahun).

Tapi orang tua tetep milih bayar mahal, ketimbang gratis di negeri.

Ini bukan soal rakyat gak mau digratisin.

Ini soal: kalo dikasih pilihan antara "gratis tapi kelas isinya 30+ anak, fasilitas ala kadarnya" vs "bayar mahal tapi anak diurus", orang tua pilih masa depan anaknya, bukan hemat recehan.

Yang harusnya dipertanyakan bukan "kenapa sekolah gratis gak laku", tapi "kenapa bertahun-tahun anggaran pendidikan gede tapi kualitas SD negeri masih segitu-gitu aja?" 🤔

Gratis itu bukan otomatis berkualitas.

Rakyat cuma pengen jaminan kalo bayar pajak, hasilnya emang beneran dipake buat anak-anak mereka.
