What makes NaoX different is where the security is enforced, not just that post-quantum support exists.

Most blockchains today still rely on elliptic curve cryptography (ECDSA) at their foundation. Some are exploring migration paths. All face the same constraint: upgrading live systems without breaking compatibility.

NaoX starts from a different premise.

Built from inception as a post-quantum system using NIST-standardised cryptography (ML-DSA-87), security is embedded across the stack, not added later.

It shows up at every critical layer:

- Transactions → can be signed with post-quantum cryptography (FIPS 204 / ML-DSA-87), removing reliance on ECDSA

- Consensus → Proof of Security ensures validators must continuously prove their integrity, not just validate blocks

- Communication → data between execution and consensus layers can be encrypted and authenticated using post-quantum key exchange

- Smart contracts → fully EVM compatible with quantum-resistant execution by default. Solidity, Hardhat, Foundry, ethers and MetaMask work as standard, and Go development is supported

No migration path. No added complexity.
