PRAYER REQUEST

My uncle who has liver and stomach cancer finally got an update from his doctor today:

1. Please pray for his salvation.
2. He's going to have to have a 10 hour surgery to get the large tumor out.
It'll also be a reconstructive surgery that'll stretch his stomach out as well as his esophagus. It's a really big surgery and has many potential life-threatening complications. It'll take 3 months to recover if all goes well, then he'll continue chemo. It hasn't spread to his lymph nodes which is good cause that means it likely won't spread as fast. My dad is closest to him and he has 3 cousins and 6 grandkids.

Obviously it's more important that he comes to know Jesus, but it'll be devastating to all to lose him.

Update on my dad:

I am extremely happy to share with all of you the fact that my father's cancer has, in fact, not spread, but shrunk 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Every good gift comes from above; thank you, God! 💕 🙏

And for all you good people, look at what your prayers have contributed to! We were told the cancer had most likely spread just last week, but this morning, it was confirmed that it had shrunk!!!!!!!

My dad has a relatively minor procedure tomorrow to remove a metastatis from his brain. He must travel to the capital to do it.

Friends: Please storm heaven for my friend’s son, 5-yr-old Stephen, who relapsed recently with neuroblastoma and is on hospice.

From his mom Olivia:

“Stephen is getting close to see the face of Jesus and meet his brother baby Joseph in heaven. He received his last Rites yesterday. He has been sleeping with me every night and woke up in the middle of the night last week and said,"baby Joseph"

The hospice nurse told us Bryson may only have a week left.
Those words shattered me.

Our home is now filled with machines instead of toys, reminders that we are counting down days I never wanted to face.
They say he is moving through the stages of dying, and I can hardly breathe knowing my child is slipping away.

How do I plan a funeral for my baby?
How do I choose between burial or cremation, when all I want is for him to live?

No parent should ever be forced to make these choices.
All I can do now is hold him close and pray that he feels nothing but love. ~ Bryson family

🙏 I believe that God hears & answers prayers. MY SON NEEDS PRAYER. He has a brain tumor, and is finalizing scans & tests & neurosurgeon visits. He will be operated on September 18th. We are asking the Lord for his health. He & his wife are in Christ, trusting Him. Thank you.
