After many years of being KJV primary, I am switching to the new KJV. I am tired of double working through the archaic words and terms that are updated in the NKJV. Getting a large print Thompson Chain Reference.
@oliverburdick The one that gets your nose in the Bible regularly. Study with literal translations, but interact with a translation that helps you stay in the Word.

What if God simply used Rome to ensure that the infrastructure would be in place for the gospel to spread easily to the known world in the first century?
@HerbsandDirt I had to get mine out because I was having perpetual headaches from the crowding. Once they were out, felt much better. That’s just my experience though.
Real discipleship produces real disciples that STAY living for God and learn to build their own relationship with Him. If these things aren’t happening, we may not really be producing disciples.
Why even ship USPS? They literally never deliver the day they say they’re going to. I wish Amazon sellers would exclusively do FedEx or UPS unless the end user has a PO Box and USPS is the only way.
Steven Gill’s work, “The History and Development of the Doctrine of the Trinity” is also a masterclass on the fulfillments of Old Testament prophecy and how that all came together to create the world of the NT believers. God has helped me to study some COOL stuff this year.
