Sunday night - played some Final Fantasy VII.
Itโs been a very long time since I last finished this, so definitely up for a couple of hours each weekend.
I suppose this interesting project could make playing arcade games on MISTer that more tactile. Might be getting ahead of myself though...

@mattatronics@XRPee1983 There is a PAL version available on the DS which is supposed to be very good port (some would argue better than the SNES original). The game and a DS would be a fraction of the price of the SNES.
Used to own the SNES ver. wouldn't mind picking up again in the future.
@games_rozz He was decorating at the time - I recall that much and had a bunch of stuff in the hallway. Never saw him play it or talk about it after that. Maybe sold it. Although he kept a lot of tech. I know he still has is Curry's bought CDTV. Which he had modded a decade or two ago.
@games_rozz Same, never played one always wanted to. Not even entirely sure if my memory is accurate but sure as hell remember it. I even recall my uncle saying you put coloured sheets in it - which I kinda a scoffed at as being odd.
Do post pics!
I'd like to visit the retrocave.
@games_rozz The Vector graphics definitely made it. Incredible experience in the Arcade as well.
It took time before that style hit home systems. Vectrix excluded. I swear my uncle had one boxed and I asked him about it (must have been like 5 at the time).
