Ranked Play is being updated in Season 04 for full transparency: All SR gains and losses will now be displayed in detail after matches.
▪️ Base Win: +20 SR for every win
▪️ Base Loss: -20 SR for Bronze through Diamond, -30 to -65 SR for Crimson and above.
▪️ Scoreboard Bonus: Finish as a top four player in a match to earn an SR bonus; the higher your Scoreboard position, the bigger your bonus
▪️ Opponent Rank Adjustment: SR is adjusted based on the relative Rank of Opponents compared to your current Rank. Receive SR bonuses for beating better players, and get reduced SR when outperformed by lower Ranked opponents.
▪️ Underdog Team Bonus: Bonus SR is awarded when beating a significantly higher-Ranked team, and SR loss is reduced when losing to a significantly higher-Ranked team.
▪️ Favored Team Penalty: SR is subtracted if a team you beat is lower-Ranked, and SR loss is increased when losing to a lower-Ranked team.

We'll switch over fully to the new CDL Map Pool once Ranked Play Season 04 kicks off next week
We've previously used MMR because it guarantees the right percentage of players end up in each Rank (Iridescent = top 2%, Crimson = Top 10%, etc)
But as a player, MMR can be confusing and feel out of your control -- which is why we've completely overhauled the SR System for S04

Starting with Season 04, the Ranked Play SR system becomes even clearer.
No more hidden MMR, no more unexplained SR. Every point you earn or lose will be laid out in a new Post-Match Summary with all the details. More to come as we get closer to S04 launch!
Today's BO7 update unrestricts the MPC in Ranked Play. This patch was finalized before additional Attachment GAs were decided by Pros yesterday -- those additional Attachment updates will be coming in a future Ranked update
