@rogerclemens How did a sinker become a fastball. Derek Lowe threw a sinker. It was thrown low in the strike zone and caused ground balls. When Lowe was too strong, his sinker would sink less because it was thrown too hard. Now, “sinkers” are thrown at the top of the strike zone. Explain?
