It's fun to have guests in our classes. Sarah Case, a sr. mechanical engineering student at Pitt State, visited our 1st grade science class to share about engineers and jobs that engineers do to solve problems. Students enjoyed learning about engineering with her.

Students of Michelle Andersen's Native American History course at LVS welcomed guest speaker KS House Rep. Christina Haswood. She spoke about the human rights crisis of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women/People (MMIW/P) and discussed the bill that she co-sponsored, HB 2008.
Some of our LVS students and LVS teacher, Mrs. Norman, toured the KCKCC-TEC campus last week. They toured programs such as Culinary Arts, Cosmetology, Audio Engineering, Welding, Building Engineering, Electrical, and HVAC. Students even met with KS Representative Sharice Davids.
Our LVS HS Thespian Troupe will be hosting an open rehearsal on Wednesday, March 30th at 3 pm. Come see what theatre is all about!

LVS elementary classes celebrated our 100th day of school this week. Students participated in a variety of activities, including dressing up, with their classes together online. What a fun way to celebrate and learn.
