I am excited about the support systems we are implementing for our tweeners (new teachers). Mentors, First Class Coaches, and district leaders will help them overcome struggles they are afraid to share with their evaluators. #lawtonadmin

@lpscurriculum Needless to say, the teacher has to be present. The statistics on the effects of teacher attendance is overwhelming. Believers do not want to be out of their classrooms.

@djocatlin Agreed, Donna! We have to get rid of excuses and blame. It is hard to accept the responsibility of educating ALL students, but if we focus on doing what is right and not blaming others, we will take a huge step forward.

Listen to the students! They want teachers who are strict but fair, nice and respectful, and who take time to explain the lesson. They want teachers who believe in them and teach them how they learn best. BE A BELIEVER!
