@DiaboliAdvocate I was out walking with a prosecutor friend recently and we bumped into a newly retired magistrate,he said he recognised her from court and asked if she was on the good side or the bad side.We both felt quite awkward by that.

Bit disappointed to hear the prosecutor in court state that a defence colleague had contradicted herself by mitigating that her client was both "Street wise" and vulnerable.Of course she can be.Just as a client can be a defendant and a victim. #traumainformedCJS #notquite
