We are developing our first Web2 game, a standalone app separate from the cPen app that we plan to promote through the cPen ecosystem.

This is also an experiment in expanding the cPen ecosystem beyond a single app.

AI-assisted development gives our small team new ways to prototype, build and test products more efficiently. If this model works well, we hope to gradually develop more standalone apps across different categories, creating additional utility, experiences and potential revenue sources for the ecosystem.

🛒 cPen Market

We plan to evolve the current cPen Wall into cPen Market.

The existing Wall experience and your Dan balance will carry forward, while the Market expands what users can discover, promote and eventually sell through the cPen ecosystem.

We plan to begin with digital products and content, such as Mobile apps, books, PDFs, photos and other digital items, and gradually explore physical products over time.

We currently envision two main types of listings:

• Promotional / non-sale listings: use Dan to publish, such as promoting an app, service or project

• Paid products: marketplace fees will apply to transactions

Details about fees, seller eligibility, supported products, marketplace rules and regional availability will be announced before launch.

Dan is cPen's internal platform credit. It is not a cryptocurrency and has no cash-out value.

Today, Dan can be spent on Wall posts and can be earned through Burnchase.

As the ecosystem grows, we plan to expand both sides of Dan:

Our goal is for Dan to become a useful internal credit connecting different parts of the cPen ecosystem.

We are exploring a verified step-based feature that could reward eligible users for daily walking.

Verification and anti-abuse measures will be part of the design so that rewards are based on eligible activity.

Reward rates, eligibility requirements and availability are still being designed and will be announced later.

We will continue expanding cStory step by step.

Comments and user-created posts are among the next features we plan to introduce, with the longer-term goal of building a more complete social experience inside cPen.

Our current target is to launch the cPen testnet in early 2027 and continue network development throughout 2027.

Over the longer term, our goal is to progressively build more of the cPen ecosystem on the cPen Mainnet.

As of August 4, 2026, more than 320 million CPEN have been permanently removed from circulation, approximately 9.48% of the original total supply.

Based on the CPEN market price at the time of calculation, the burned tokens had an estimated market value of more than US$200,000. This value is approximate and will fluctuate with the market price.

Buyback and burn is an important part of cPen’s token-economic design and supports the closed-loop model discussed in our research paper, From Labor to Attention: The Attention-Token Economic Model (ATEM).

The model connects ecosystem participation, app operations, token buybacks, and verifiable token burns in a continuing economic cycle.

Burn activity can be viewed and independently verified through the cPen app’s OnChain page.

INK mining will officially end on July 30, 2026, at 23:59:59 UTC.

To help ensure a smooth verification, distribution, and transition, please complete the following:

✅ Update your cPen app to the latest version (1.3.22+)

✅ Complete your KYC and Liveness verification

✅ Submit a valid self-custody wallet address

Please do not use a CEX or exchange deposit address, as it may not be supported for the INK distribution.

After confirming that your wallet address is correct, we strongly recommend locking it to help protect your account and prevent accidental changes.

What happens after INK mining ends?

Following the end of INK mining, there will be a two-week grace period for users who still need to complete their KYC and Liveness verification.

After the grace period:

• KYC and Liveness verification will temporarily close for the INK distribution process

• INK balance verification will begin

• INK distribution will be completed in phases
More details about the verification process, distribution schedule, and individual phases will be announced separately.

INK Lock & Earn

Eligible users may choose to lock their full verified INK balance to earn additional INK.

Depending on the selected lock period, users may earn up to 40% additional INK.

Please note:

• The full verified INK balance must be locked; partial locking is not available

• Lock selections may be changed or cancelled before the selection period closes on August 14, 2026

• Users who do not make a selection will receive the regular phased INK distribution

• Bonus INK will be calculated based on the verified INK balance

• Bonus INK will be credited after the lock period ends and will follow the same phased release process

The next mining chapter begins

🌐 HATN mining will begin immediately after INK mining ends, starting on July 31, 2026, at 00:00:00 UTC.

HATN, Human Attention Token, is based on the Attention-Token Economic Model introduced in our research paper, From Labor to Attention.
