My favorite theory to learn about was face-negotiation theory. This is because it actually caused me to evaluate what my end goals are, when communicating. If you don’t use a way to resolve conflict that aligns with your goal, it might not be very helpful at all. #utcommtheory

Whenever I meet people from my mom’s life group for church, I always am very respectful and pay attention to the topics I bring up. I use convergence to make sure I don’t offend anyone and have appropriate interactions, rather than act how I do with my friends. #UTcommtheory
