على مدى سنوات كانت اسرائيل تقصف فقط مواقع الميليشات الايرانية في سوريا، ولم تدمر موقعاً واحداً للنظام الساقط، ولم تقتل ضابطاً سورياً واحداً. اما اليوم وبعد سقوط النظام تقوم اسرائيل بتدمير مواقع الاسلحة الاستراتيجية والثقيلة لأنها لا تثق بالنظام الجديد كما كانت تثق بنظام الاسد الذي لم يستخدم السلاح مطلقاً ضد الاسرائيليين بل كان يستخدمه فقط ضد السوريين.
