Great to be joined by new Shadow Secretary of State for Scotland @HarrietCross_MP and @AJABurnett for the final push!
Just a few hours until polls close - vote Nick Layden ‘1’ for a strong @ScotTories voice that will always stand up for local residents!
John Swinney’s latest plans could see some Scots hit with council tax bills of £7,650 a year.
Instead of piling more pressure on taxpayers, the SNP should focus on giving councils the funding they need.
The SNP are obsessed with announcing headline grabbing gimmicks instead of tackling the issues that really matter to Scots.
The Scottish Conservatives are the only party focused on delivering for Scottish taxpayers.
Scotland is a powerhouse of industry, talent and opportunity.
We can and should be a country that attracts people with ambition and aspiration, backs those who want to get on and rewards hard work and success.
But the high-tax, high-spend policies of both Labour and the SNP are holding Scotland back.
As Shadow Secretary of State for Scotland, I will work to make the case for a country that thrives as part of a strong, successful and growing United Kingdom.
Shock, horror... There is no mention in the SNP Government's supermarket price cap consultation/draft legislation that their own lawyers have warned the policy may be unlawful. We are happy to set the record straight. Exclusive by @conor_matchett

It's like they're addicted to dishonesty. it's 117 days since the election result (May 8), and even if you argue Day 1 of the government is the day Swinney appointed his cabinet (May 20), it's still 105 days.
That's before we get to the point that this entire policy is phony.
Huge shoes to fill. @ClaireCoutinho has been an incredible Shadow Energy- an inspiration, a friend and a great boss.
Energy is key to everything that we do. It keeps the wheels of our economy moving, allows us to get to work or school, keeps our families warm, and our country safe.
Since Labour entered office doing all of that has become more expensive.
They have blindly pursued ideological targets over bringing down costs for families and businesses.
Cheap power is the @Conservatives priority.
As a North East Scot I've seen firsthand the impact of Labour's war on our oil and gas industry. It cannot go on.
For the sake of our economy, our energy security, and British jobs we must allow our oil and gas industry do what it does best. Get oil and gas out of the ground and into Britain.
To reindustrialise Britain and face the future with confidence we will require an abundance of energy. Through new nuclear we can deliver clean and plentiful electricity to create a stronger economy, and a stronger country.
I am proud to be part of @KemiBadenoch 's team and the fight for that future.
Visible policing works — and SNP cuts have made it harder to deliver.
In Inverness, targeted high-visibility patrols have coincided with a fall of more than 20% in city-centre shoplifting.
That is exactly why cutting police capacity is so short-sighted. More visible officers in our town and city centres deter crime, reassure businesses and make people feel safer.
The SNP should be rebuilding frontline policing and restoring visible officers to our communities — not cutting the capacity that keeps people and businesses safe.
Parliament returns next week, and we'll see if Andy Burnham is a man of action or just vibes. Either way, I'll be there to hold him to account.
He can start on Tuesday by stopping Labour’s early-release programme. The horrific A66 crash shows what happens when criminals believe they'll get away with crimes.

London is the best city on earth.
This campaign is about making the most of the huge opportunities, extraordinary talent and almost limitless potential our city has to offer.

Wealth is created by people who take a risk. You can't have an enterprise economy without a healthy appetite for risk.
Many thanks to Wicus, Johnny, and Mike for having me on The Business Babble podcast to talk about welfare, work, business, and entrepreneurship.

If confirmed, the new chancellor will have torpedoed his own credibility and undermined the government's seriousness of purpose in record-breaking time.
🚨Swinney's at it again.
He COULD choose to reduce NHS wait lists, cut taxes and benefits, fix public services, clean the streets, fill the pot-holes, tackle crime etc.
But instead it's the usual tedious and time-wasting SNP obsession of breaking up our great country 🇬🇧 🏴
Leonardo. Developing some of the most advanced defence radar technology for Great Britain and exporting to our allies around the world.
A genuinely world leading company, based in Edinburgh. Proud to have them here in Scotland and great to visit them yesterday. 🇬🇧🏴
Truly excellent from Mathis Döpfner in The @spectator.

Having worked in the Home Office, I can tell you these new guidelines for asylum seekers were put together by the same idiots who repeatedly told me that people did not know FGM was illegal, so we needed to “educate” rather than arrest them.
I was then blocked from attending forums because, after all, what would I know as a survivor and a woman from one of these “communities”?
I am beyond angry at this BS. Men who abuse women and girls will simply play dumb, and progressives will use it as an excuse to let them off. This is exactly why we secured stronger protections for women and girls under the Conservatives.
