Ethnocide, ecocide, and ethnic cleansing in Lebanon continue. israel has bombed Beaufort Castle (Qalaat al Shaqif) in Arnoun, South Lebanon, after nearly three consecutive years of attacks targeting Lebanon’s cultural, historical, and religious sites.
Western officials are like "Violence has no place in our society [bombs a school]. We've all got our differences and disagreements [sponsors a genocide], but it's important for us to find a way to make peace [starves a civilian population with siege warfare]."
🚨BREAKING🚨Israeli forces are now issuing direct death threats to Lebanese journalists on WhatsApp as well as besieging them.
Al-Akhbar correspondent @AmalKhalil83, who has been documenting the devastation across southern Lebanon, received these messages from an Israeli number (+972 54-869-5113):
“We know where you are… we will reach you… leave if you want to keep your head on your shoulders.”
First message:
“Alright, my lady, you are moving from one village to another, but you still haven’t gone to enough funerals or hospitals. There is a lot of grief & sorrow behind that smile you try to show on Twitter. Let’s see what your answer will be… Is your house still standing, Anisa (Miss)? I hope so?”
Second message:
“We know where you are & we will reach you when the time comes. Even though you are not important to us, in the end we will take everything into account. I suggest you flee to Qatar or somewhere else if you want to keep your head connected to your shoulders :)”
This is not intimidation. This is the IDF issuing an explicit death threat to a journalist for covering their crimes.
At the same time, Israeli forces besieged Amal al-Khalil & journalist Zeinab Faraj in al-Tayri, blocking the Red Cross & Lebanese Army from reaching them.
They were in a delegate vehicle when a drone strike hit a vehicle behind them, killing two people. Both journalists were trapped at the scene.
Amal contacted the Red Cross before her phone died. Her last message confirmed she was still safe.
Rescue teams still cannot reach the two besieged journalists, Amal al-Khalil & Zeinab Faraj. They are just 500 meters away, but the road has been cut off by an Israeli strike, according to Red Cross paramedics.
This is targeting journalists in real time. This is a crime.
Pure state terrorism against the press.
‼️ Hezbollah delivers one of the worst beatings of the war.
The story of Israeli elite unit ambushed hard on the Litani River, as reported by Israeli Channel 12:
‘An Israeli soldier from the elite Yahalom unit described the ambush on the Litani River opposite Beaufort Castle:
"I have been fighting for nearly three years, & I have never seen firepower like this in my life."
Hezbollah unleashed around 400 rockets & shells in minutes, including cluster munitions.
Soldiers could not lift their heads. They were crawling on the ground just to retreat. Most of the force was hit within minutes, including a lieutenant colonel with serious wounds. It turned into a major mass casualty event.
Fighters called it the hardest battle they have ever faced, worse than Gaza or last year's Lebanon operations.
One soldier said: "You lie on the ground, crawling to treat the wounded, while your whole body shakes from explosions that never stop."
Due to the heavy losses, commanders ordered an immediate withdrawal & abandoned the mission. They even left behind valuable Yahalom engineering equipment. The decision was approved at the highest levels by Northern Command & the Chief of Staff.
After pulling out, Hezbollah walked in broad daylight, photographed the vehicles, & seized some of the gear. No Israeli strike came to destroy it.
Senior Israeli officers are calling this one of the worst operational and intelligence failures of the entire war.’
A Lebanese woman tells the story of how she participated in the bombing of an enemy army convoy in 1985 in south Lebanon. The women of the south are the women of resistance and honor 💛
“We planted the mine, then came back home and drank tea”
The logic behind Hizbullah's decision to join the war:
1) First, the context: From November 2024 to March 1, 2026, Lebanon lived through what I would call “cease-fire warfare” — a new US-backed model of managed war or as Israel called it, a “dynamic truce”, which it used as cover for continued aerial strikes, assassinations, occupation of five strategic points, over 15,000 violations, 400+ killed, kidnappings, and blocked reconstruction. In short, Israel used the cease-fire to achieve what it failed to do during the actual 2 month war. The goal was not just to weaken Hizbullah militarily, but to erase the conditions that produce resistance, while a weak and servile Lebanese government that neither recognised nor defended South Lebanon looked on and tried to delegitimize and constrain Hizbullah’s resistance activity.
2) It is worth establishing from the outset that Hizbullah's decision to participate in the war was not primarily about supporting Iran strategically nor even about ideological solidarity after Khamenei’s assassination. Iran has been conducting a substantial military campaign of its own which has exceeded the expectations of its foes and friends alike, and which neither required nor was waiting on Hizbullah's participation to prosecute it. Hizbullah’s calculations were purely internal: to secure a more durable and robust ceasefire and beyond that, on emerging from any regional settlement with stronger domestic standing, having watched Saudi and other Arab leverage over Lebanese politics diminish as those actors absorb the costs of backing this military campaign against Iran.
3) Those who characterise this decision as a gamble, fundamentally misread the situation, for a gamble presupposes something of value left to lose. There was little, if anything, worth preserving after 15 months of ceasefire warfare that became an existential threat for Hizbullah and its Shia constituency, as well as for Lebanon as a whole, given Israel’s expansionist colonial ambitions. There was every indication the aggression would only deepen, with full-scale assault on Lebanon as its logical culmination. The choice confronting Hizbullah was therefore never between war and peace, but between slow annihilation within an Epstein-genocidal world order and dignified resistance with the possibility of victory.
4) Notably, in its statement yesterday, Hizbullah did not trouble itself to justify its decision domestically by invoking the considerable evidence available to it (as reported by Israeli media, Israeli cabinet discussions yesterday about expanding the war to Lebanon, 100,000 troops massed on the border, explicit invasion threats, etc.) This is likely because it has ceased to regard the current Lebanese government as a legitimate interlocutor. What it sees instead is a collaborationist , Vichy style authority it does not recognise and whose survival it does not expect, and which has in any case placed itself in violation of international law by criminalising the right of resistance to occupation.
5) The cabinet's ban today on Hizbullah's military activities will not be enforced for the simple reason that the army lacks both the will and the institutional coherence to enforce it. The army chief, Rudolf Haykal declined to act on an equivalent decision in August (tellingly, Haykal and PM Salam were reported today to have quarrelled openly over precisely this question) and there is no credible basis for expecting otherwise during active wartime, not least because any serious attempt to confront Hizbullah would risk fragmenting the army along the very fault lines such a confrontation would expose.
6) In light of the above, it becomes easier to understand Hizbullah's 15 months of restraint which should be read as a deliberate strategic patience serving several simultaneous purposes: allowing its community a period of respite and itself an opportunity to reconsolidate after a bruising war, while extending to the Lebanese state a nominal chance to resolve the occupation through diplomatic channels , not out of any genuine faith in that possibility, but in order to be seen to have exhausted it before returning to armed resistance. Hizbullah must have understood with reasonable certainty that a second and far more consequential round of war involving Iran was an inevitability, and that when it came, Iran would engage fully and without restraint, which would optimize the likelihood of, if not outright victory, denying the US and Israel one.
On the morning of February 18th, 1999, residents of Arnoun in South Lebanon awoke to find their village cut off from the rest of country by a double strip of barbed wire, surrounded by israeli occupation forces. We will not allow this history to repeat.
⚠️ Reuters has now confirmed what many suspected.
In early 2024, U.S. diplomats blocked internal cables describing northern Gaza as an “Apocalyptic Wasteland.” The reports included harrowing details: human bones scattered in the streets, bodies left abandoned in cars, & a total collapse of access to food, clean water, and medical aid.
These cables were not speculation. They were based on first-hand field observations from U.N. agencies & humanitarian workers on the ground.
So why were they blocked?
Because they were considered “too graphic.”
Because they “lacked balance.”
Because they might make Israel look bad.
Senior officials at the U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem, including Ambassador Jack Lew & Deputy Chief Stephanie Hallett, stopped the reports from reaching higher levels of the U.S. government. They feared the cables would contradict the administration’s public narrative & disrupt ongoing political cover for Israel’s actions in Gaza.
According to former officials, humanitarian experts were sidelined, ignored, & outright dismissed. Inside meetings, the question from officials was not how to respond to starvation, but reportedly, “Where are all the skinny kids?”
This was not merely policy misjudgment, but complicity on a grand scale.
The Biden administration had access to concrete evidence of mass death, starvation, & social collapse. Instead of sounding the alarm, it chose to suppress the truth to preserve its political position.
They did not just ignore the warnings. They buried them.
Let that sink in.

What the israeli enemy failed to destroy with bombs, they uprooted from the earth. More ancient olive trees were deliberately torn from the land as part of the ongoing zionist land and ethnic cleansing in Lebanon.
This photo was taken today in Ayta al Shaab, South Lebanon.
