Some of them actually know this.
Even before APC members started resigning, Accord already had a strong chance of winning.
Now that APC members are leaving the party, the equation is changing even further.
I remember arguing with some APC online supporters when they celebrated getting people like Kayode Odunoye. We maintained that such defections had little value, and those are paperweights, but they replied that the APC made the same mistake by dismissing defections before the last election.
Going by that logic, one would expect them to admit the obvious by now. Many of those leaving the APC today are not just ordinary members, they were among the key figures who helped Oyetola and the APC secure ‘victory’ in 2018.
This is just difficult to ignore…
#AdelekeTill2030 is certain.
JUST IN
A former member of the House of Representatives and APC chieftain has quit the party.
Lmaooo... Everybody, everything, and even the APC itself seem to be against the Osun APC.
And the funny thing? AMBO should be prepared, It’s going to be a disgrace on Aug 15. 😂
Omo… This person doesn’t even have anything against Gov. Adeleke. And he started serious.
In a debate, you have already lost, if these are your points.
Everything against Oyetola!

In four years, Governor Ademola Adeleke has significantly grown the Internally Generated Revenue of Osun from N24.47billion in 2022 to N58billion in 2025.
This is the result of a deliberate effort to block all loopholes of government funds and resources, and a financially prudent, transparent and accountable government.

We Overlook your Insecurity challenges Because Our own Children are Abroad — House of Rep Member, Bamidele Salam, tells Nigerians
House of Representatives member, Bamidele Salam (Ede North/Ede South/Egbedore/Ejigbo Federal Constituency), has said that many Nigerian leaders tend to overlook rising insecurity because their children attend private schools or study abroad, unlike those of ordinary citizens in public schools.
Speaking during plenary on Wednesday (in a viral video), he called for urgent protection of schools across the country and cited a Yoruba proverb to illustrate inequality in response to vi%lence:
“There is a saying among the Yoruba people that if a lion comes into a village and k+lls the children of the poor, there may be no noise… but when the day the lion comes into the village and k+lls a child of the king, the whole city is turned into a graveyard.”
He added that many leaders are detached from public school realities: “For reasons we all know most of the children of those of us who are in leadership position today attend private schools. Some of them outside of the Republic of Nigeria. But the children of the poor attend public schools and we cannot afford to close our eyes…”
Salam proposed a dedicated security structure for schools: “Part of the resolution should be the need to create a special force specifically designed for the school system.”
He noted that Nigeria once had a school security framework under the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, but said it was poorly funded: “It was never funded for the period of its existence.”
He stressed urgency, arguing that if government can secure officials, it can protect schools: “If we can protect the thousands of public office holders in Nigeria, we can protect the children of the poor.”
Reacting to recent insecurity in Oyo State, he urged proactive government action: “The government needs to be more proactive and provide comfort to the victims of these att@cks.”
