@Fortnite
Just wanted to give you guys a heads up that your image for Stage 4 in Damon’s Legacy Styles is using the image for Stage 4 of Sakara’s Legacy Styles.
Your AI support bot told me to figure out how to reach devs, without giving any suggestions. Is this the right place?
The other 26 seasons of Destiny were fun.
Just because the Light and Dark story ended, and Bungie tried to keep it going afterwards but failed to adjust for longevity, doesn’t mean people aren’t interested in a new game with a new story.
This is all being addressed to Sony for this reason. They are known to be cut throat with the way their games are both made and managed. If they don’t think Bungie can reliably make a D3, we are fine seeing it be built by another developer.
@KnownAsSys Aztecross didn’t even start the petition. @LUCKYY10P did.
Now both are doing tons to help move the movement along, but I would say the petition was the first real call to action from a Destiny Content Creator.
@slushy20954@JefftheGamerGuy@DivideGaming21 That's fair. Yesterdays launch was really bad... and it all happened while Sony's "State of Play" was telling people to join on to play for free. Pretty epic flop.
@shayshaylitt@LordQKumber@GernaderJake I see what your schtick is.
I really do hope you get tons of enjoyment out of the game you want to play. Seriously.
I’m also sorry you think Marathon is flopping because of Destiny fans. Must really suck seeing that community rally for something.
@ChiefingIsRude@Razer They do an amazing job at utilizing all of the controller functions while being fun to play.
A bunch of us at work love it because our kids can enjoy it too. Great for all ages!
Who is punishing them? By asking for a D3?
If you think Destiny players not wanting to play Marathon is punishment, I’d like you to take a look at the two games and tell me where they are similar in anyway to draw Destiny players in. The people asking for D3 are also not even asking Bungie for it, but Sony who owns the rights.
Bungie literally ignored inviting Destiny players to play test Marathon for TARKOV players because they knew Destiny players wouldn’t play it. No one is ‘punishing’ Bungie.
This is the stick in the bike spoke meme.
I disagree that they should have continued the same story. They hit a climactic ending that tied everything nicely together.
They do however have plenty more lore and stories to tell. Tons of branches off the Light and Dark saga.
I agree, spamming a chat won’t change the past, but the only reason why the game fizzled out the past 2 years is because the story was done. People wanted a new story and saw that it wasn’t coming, and Bungie was taking devs from Destiny to make Marathon which exacerbated the problem.
I think letting Sony know there is a market for Destiny content should be shown at every opportunity. This State of Play especially, because they will be there reading it.
Just so you know, Destiny 2 came out in September 2017.
That’s just over 8 years, in case you needed help with the math.
I never said anything about continuing Destiny 2. People want a Destiny 3. A new game built on a foundation that will keep the entire story in one place. A new story away from the Light and Dark saga, and there is plenty of lore and stories to tell from it.
I’m also not sure why you think people who play Destiny don’t also play other games. Do you only play one game? Do you not think a NEW Destiny game, is not a different game?
You’ve got some weird hostility to my observations.
The argument is that Destiny 2 should have ended when the Light and Dark Saga ended. That resources should have been moved to a new game in the Destiny franchise.
Instead the time and resources were put toward an extraction shooter targeted to TARKOV players. This also ruined the PvP side of Destiny as that team was put into Marathon.
It was a push to create a new game that took resources and time from Destiny.
I think Marathon is a beautiful looking game with good lore, but personally I don’t play extraction shooters. Most Destiny players don’t either. It’s not crazy to see why they would feel a bit betrayed by it all.
You hated Destiny 2 before the 26 seasons (8 years of content) even began to release?
I wouldn’t expect anything else from someone who never actually played the game.
‘Back in my day you had to grind for exotics’. They used to call rewarding gamers for playing the game ‘Qulaity of Life’ fixes. Now they say it “sucks bruh”.
Destiny was a fun game. Destiny 2 is a fun game. Your hatred to it is based on not actually playing it.
