Looking back the moment was way more special now. In his final season, he led Kimball to another state championship. THAT same day, his brother secured another ring. In this interview, you see the love shown to his community.
Kendrick Perkins clears the air on his outburst at his son's AAU game:
"It's my organization: Young Perkins Global. We're in a tournament, it's a heated game. ... We end up winning the game. Alright, cool. The other team, they had this guy that's like 7-foot, 400 pounds. After the game, he comes, and he body slams one of my kids that play for my team. ... I tell the coach of the other team, 'Hey, bro. Get your players, I got mine.' He pop off, 'I ain't getting nothing. Who the hell are you?' ... He got smart with me again, that's when I got pissed off. ... And then afterwards we dabbed up, he said, 'My bad', I said 'My bad' and we kept it moving."

Owen Shook 👑
Owen Shook is a tough and crafty 5’10” point guard in the Class of 2027 out of Cypress Ridge High School who continues to make an impact with his feel and toughness on both ends of the floor. Shook does an excellent job getting to his spots offensively, using his pace and ball-handling ability to draw defenders and create quality opportunities for teammates. A reliable perimeter threat, he shoots the ball extremely well off the catch and consistently spaces the floor with confidence.
Despite his size, Shook plays with physicality and competitiveness, especially on the defensive end where he takes pride in guarding opposing players. He also finishes effectively at the rim, showing craftiness and control in traffic. His strong all-around play earned him First Team All-District honors, further proving his value as a floor general and competitor. Off the court, he maintains a 3.2 GPA while continuing to develop his game. During the live period, Shook will compete with Houston Raptors at the G1 Series in Duncanville.
