Thought Morez Johnson had a fantastic opening Summer League game for the Mavericks. He wasn't perfect as the shot didn't consistently fall, he struggled to create his own, and way too many fouls.

However, he was fantastic on defense (you could hear him communicating from the other side of the gym), strong on the boards, and showed a ton of versatility out of the roll.

The Mavericks' acquisition of the draft rights to Tarik Biberović from Memphis is not listed on the transaction log but league sources reiterate that Biberović is indeed Dallas-bound and on course to sign the deal we reported yesterday that will bring him to the NBA next season.
