@Bronymon_ I got blocked after a snide comment about my pfp. I understand that at the very least, but all I told them was that I can’t force them into changing their opinions. I’m not a bad guy, I just play one in the Sunday funnies.
“It is not for me to judge another man's life. I must judge, I must choose, I must spurn, purely for myself. For myself, alone.”
Herman Hesse - Siddhartha
@AngyPaws It’s difficult to shun someone who hadn’t been accepted on either side. There’s no point arguing anything. I can’t change your mind, or force you to accept my opinions on things. I just hope at the end of the day, you can sleep.
@niichhe Gotta remember, when their third album dropped, they did collab with google earth to have their island be put on the planet to help hype it up.
@Bronymon_ The 10% thing was an Old Testament law concept. The whole philosophy behind it is to not kill yourself with generosity, but to give what you are able to in order to help those who have even less. A better modern day example is faith-led food banks and stuff.
@Glorybunner I gotta agree that it ain’t healthy, but you know the good thing about people is that they’re mostly always capable of changing themselves. Besides, you aren’t in it alone.
@Crome_Gnomesta 2 And he opened his mouth and taught them, saying:
3 “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4 “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.
5 “Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.
- Matthew 5 2-5
@Spazzyfloof “If thou find an arguer talking, a poor man, that is to say not thine equal, be not scornful toward him because he is lowly. Let him alone; then shall he confound himself. Question him not to please thine heart, neither pour out thy wrath upon him that is before thee;”
-ptahotep
@Glorybunner And as I said before, when we were talking about this last week, they straight up don’t have the balls to do Joshua Graham at all, and if they did, it would be a character assassination akin to what happened to Mike Dawson in Dark Seed 2
@EjBeta Pisses me off more, it’s been 200 years. Not one instance of anyone doing anything other than build shitty tar paper shacks and rummaging through rotting technology that they have probably still have the tools to remake. Man did not innovate on existing shit. They made it.
