🧵 Educational Breakdown: Inside Bar CRT (OMO WHITE / CRT KING Style on XAUUSD)
1/8
An Inside Bar is a powerful price action pattern:
The current candle’s high & low sit completely inside the previous candle (the “mother bar”).
It signals consolidation & indecision — often followed by a strong breakout.
This is a core setup in the CRT KING / OMO WHITE approach. Let’s break it down 👇
My expectation for today’s CPI news
The consensus among economists is for a slightly softer CPI than last month, mainly due to lower gasoline prices during June. However, core inflation is still expected to remain sticky, so even a softer headline number may not produce a sustained move unless the core reading also comes in below expectations.
For CRT traders, it’s generally wise to avoid entering before the release, let the initial volatility settle, then look for your CRT setup after liquidity has been taken.
CRT (Candle Range Theory) Model
CRT is based on the idea that a candle creates a dealing range. Price will often sweep one side of that range (liquidity grab) before moving toward the opposite side.
Bullish CRT
Mark the CRT candle’s High and Low.
Price sweeps below the CRT Low.
Price closes back inside the range.
Look for confirmation (CISD, FVG, Order Block).
Target the opposite side of the range (CRT High).
Bearish CRT
Mark the CRT candle’s High and Low.
Price sweeps above the CRT High.
Price closes back inside the range.
Enter on CISD, FVG, Breaker, or Order Block.
Target the CRT Low.
CRT Formula
Range → Liquidity Sweep → Reclaim → Expansion
Or in your teaching style:
CRT ➜ CISD ➜ Retracement ➜ Model 1 Entry ➜ Expansion
Multi-Timeframe CRT Mapping
Monthly CRT → Daily
Weekly CRT → H4
Daily CRT → H1
H4 CRT → M15
The higher timeframe CRT provides directional bias, while the lower timeframe CRT provides execution.
There were days it took me months to make this amount.
Today, it’s a single running trade and not even close to Target.
That’s the thing about growth.
It doesn’t happen in a straight line.
You struggle for what feels like forever, wondering if you’re making any progress…
Then one day, your skill catches up to your ambition.
What once felt impossible becomes normal.
Keep studying.
Keep improving.
And finally, Keep showing up.
One day, you’ll look back at the goals that once kept you awake at night and wonder why you ever thought they were impossible.
I don't know who needs to hear this but
