Yeh true.
That being said, I think the macro environment is improving a lot with the potential coming out of the middle east and at least easing of tariffs even though they are definitely non-zero for the long hall.
I think the next inflation numbers will have more impact than the downgrade.

@2020InnerVision Nice, have you backtested this method? I'd be curious on the accuracy. I'm working hard to find reliable methods at the moment. Loving all the volatility.

@petroleumpepe S&P downgraded US debt in 2013 and Fitch in 2023. The impact was minimal - I'm optimistic that its going to be a repeat.
Longer term - oh man, i hope we get out debt under control in the US!

@moneycontrolcom Do you view it as temporary? I checked out the downgrades from S&P and Fitch and the impacts on the nasdaq were very shortlived. So to that extent, I'd expect a hold rally to be short term. Thoughts?
