when Uthman (RA) stood by a grave, he would weep until his beard became wet with tears.
People asked him:
"You don't weep this much when Paradise or Hell is mentioned, but you do so at the grave .. why?"
He replied: ..
Eating poorly is the number one reason most people don't build muscle.
After analyzing hundreds of people, those who get the best results do the same thing: they eat 3-4 inexpensive meals every day.
Here's the list:
1. Basic Rice and Eggs
On the Day of Judgment, a bridge (As-Sirat) will be laid over Hell.
The Companions asked, 'O Messenger of Allah, what is it like?'
He ﷺ replied: 'It is thinner than a hair and sharper than a sword, slippery and shaky, covered with hooks, claws, and sharp curved thorns like the thorny Sa'dan plant of Najd.
Believers will cross it at different speeds: some like the blink of an eye, others like lightning, a rushing wind, swift horses, or fast camels.
Some will cross unharmed, some scratched but safe, while others will tumble into the Fire of Hell... until the very last one is dragged across.'
“And do not go near zina. Indeed, it is ever an immorality and is evil as a way.” (17:32)
Porn is dangerous because it doesn’t just show zina it pulls a person closer to it step by step. through the eyes, thoughts, and desires.
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ also taught that “The eyes commit zina, and their zina is looking…”
So, in Islam, guarding your gaze is a major act of worship.
This is one of the scariest realities of life. How we will die and where we will die. Nobody knows it. The unimaginable happens when it comes to death.
If anyone had told those parents yesterday that a trailer would slide off the main road, travel in an irregular direction spanning over 30 metres, just to crash into their bedroom while their children slept, they would have argued. They would not have believed it.
It brings to mind this verse in Surah An-Nisa:
أَيْنَمَا تَكُونُوا يُدْرِككُّمُ الْمَوْتُ وَلَوْ كُنتُمْ فِي بُرُوجٍ مُّشَيَّدَةٍ
"Wherever you may be, death will overtake you, even if you should be within towers of lofty construction."
When you interpret this, it exposes the illusion of human safety. We lock our doors and gates at night thinking our walls keep us completely secure from the outside world. But when the appointed time reaches a person, no amount of concrete or block can stand in the way.
This is why we should live every day as if it is our last. We are not safe even in our most secure places. Only the Almighty can guarantee our protection.
May the Almighty grant the parents the fortitude to bear the loss.
