Look at this. Our community member Tchorgnasse sculpted three of our cards as painted miniatures. We pulled the source art to compare poses, folds, palette. The sculptor read every painting like an artist, not just a fan. Our community is really AMAZING 🧵
Lena, S1 Exclusive Standard. The signature element: the curling water halo wrapping around her. Same step, same hand forward, same hair flow. Translating a wave from 2D paint to 3D resin is the hardest move here. Tchorgnasse pulled it off clean.
Malek Tornhil & Lyle, S4 Mythic. The fur mantle, the tattered cloak, the sword arm open. Then Tchorgnasse built a diorama: an undead horde rising at the king's feet, crystals breaking through the rock. The card stops at the figure. The miniature continues the scene.
Then the Blast came. She survived. But she did not come back whole.
"I must not forget. Who am I? I am Chaka. The other world, the world of Shadow, of Faust. The Invermonde. Who am I again? Remember. Remember."
Two people knew how the Blast truly happened. A Mantris genetic legend, and an Arkhante assassin who walks the Shadow.
This is the secret they buried. A cross-season thread on Chaka and Faust. 🧵
Drone Command, Level 3.
Move a controlled card to a free location. Or restart its attack from where it stands.
You play a card, you capture, you move, you capture... Brutal.
Gryffin
A massive horned brawler from the Rift. Looks terrifying. Heart breaks for the things that can't defend themselves.
He'll lose a fight before he abandons a stranger.
Some cards are brutal. Gryffin is gentle and good at it anyway.
It's story time! The Rift trailer is awesome in itself (link at the end of the thread) but it is packed with context, so some explanations are required to fully enjoy the video.
It starts with the birth of the two daughters of Malek Tornhil, king of Arkhante. Problem: there is a prophecy telling that two sisters in the Malek's lineage would cause the end of pranah. Pranah being the source of Arkhante magic, so that's not cool for many people. So Malek has to sacrifice Isalys, and only keep Solis alive. Sorry Isalys, we know it is inconvenient, but we don't make the prophecies. Malek is tasking Sylae, apprentice of Nature to kill Isalys.
The exclusive versions of Tannila standard and alternative are some of the rarest cards edited in Cross the Ages. Only one solution: checking the marketplace to find some gems in trading
Cross the Ages cards exist in both worlds.
Some collections live on a server. Ours come home when you complete a collection. 🧵

Complete the Mantris Season 2 — the physical version is yours.
If Cross the Ages art is at the top, it is because it is standing on the shoulders of giants like @YOuaglal
On top of leading artistic direction for CTA, Yanis delivered himself a few bangers over the first 4 seasons:
Locke (S1). Eli'jah (S2). Fei & Chang (S2). Tumul (S4).
CTA is his living legacy
Level 1 Blasts cast every turn.
Fireball Level 1:

Weaken any card by 200 power. Permanent.
Opens captures the board would otherwise block.
Every turn is a new puzzle. Yours and theirs.
Kunesh
A Mantris twin. A quantum-linked neural channel binds him to his brother — wherever, whenever.
Kunesh moves first. His brother already saw what's behind the corner.
Hanzo
A disciple of the old Sassaki school. Fights with the Genetique blade — a weapon that responds to discipline, not mana.
Earned his place the hard way. The only way Sassaki's disciples are allowed to.
He sharpens his blade slower on days Eli'jah's name is mentioned.
