How to help the teacher shortage:

1. Properly fund education.
2. More prep time.
3. Tuition reimbursement
4. Stop bashing teachers.
5. Respect teachers.
6. Pay teachers as much as other professions with the same education level.

Summer work for students should be to read for fun, play, exercise, and enjoy the outdoors as much as possible. Basically the same should be done by teachers and staff too!

Last night our @TCSchools_ Board voted to make masks optional for the remainder of the school year. Masks will also be optional during summer school. We still encourage social distancing when possible and hand washing often!

. He asked the board to shorten the work week, giving teachers half a day on Fridays just to plan. He said, “The look on teachers’ faces right now is the look we see in May, and it’s disheartening.”
