@Truth_matters20 They will deconstruct Christianity endlessly, but then embrace Atheism without a moments reflection.
To them, atheism is not a different worldview. To them it is the lack of a worldview. The “default”
I do not believe such a thing exists.
@Truth_matters20 Can you show us where the Infallible Bible lists these 5 conditions out and says that anyone who doesn’t believe them is a christian?
If not, why are you creating standards the bible doesnt?
Is the bible not enough?
2 Nephi 2:13- “The show of their countenance doth witness against them”
I’m not generally a fan of when people capture someone in a specific moment of time and try to make them seem evil based on their appearance.
However, I do believe that “the show of our countenance” can be revealing. To me the reveal is found in what can be consistently seen, not what is captured in a rare moment.
I know people who have light about them consistently, and you can see it in their eyes.
Mamdani’s countenance has consistently given me a bad vibe. His large smile has never distracted from what I see in his eyes.
One of the most interesting things about engaging with creedal Christians is that you can tell from the way they speak that many of them have never actually had a spiritual experience in their life. Nor received revelation.
To them, the idea is ludicrous and silly.
“He who hath ears to hear, let him hear”
This is the Mormon Burning in the Bosom problem. Only answers that confirm Mormonism are accepted! 🤡 Any other answer, you are instructed to keep going until you get a Yes. 🤡
The fraud is so obvious and big, I think that's why some people miss it.
Remember when the Scribes didn’t have an answer for Jesus, so they instead just dismissed him by claiming he was controlled by the devil?
Probably nothing..
Remember, people like this don’t actually share your principles and values. Their principles are simply that they want to see things crumble and burn.
They talk of building Utopia, but their actions always further destruction.
In that sense, they are identical to the far left.
@HwsEleutheroi@DrFrankTurek@Lets_Talk_HC If he told him he was Mormon, Frank would have pulled a “Dr white” and ignored the actual question and instead would just attack LDS beliefs that have nothing to do with the question.
His question remains important and damning regardless of whether lds beliefs are true or false.
At least she says it out loud. At the end of the day, all the “my body my choice” crowd simply believe that their life and convenience is worth more than the life of a child.
@ldsabuse It takes significantly more work to misunderstand/misrepresent the lesson that was taught than it does to understand it.
All that extra effort, and for what?
“I was told to tune in to the carpenter on the hillside a few times and that it would change my life…
I had a very busy weekend and didn’t have time..
What did I miss? What did the Son of Man reveal?”
He who hath ears to hear, let him hear
I was told to tune in to general conference a few times and that it would change my life…
I had a very busy weekend and didn’t have time..
What did I miss? What did the prophet of God reveal?
@DiscipleFidei Lds believe that Jesus Christ is the Messiah and that only through him can we be saved.
Muslims do not.
If that is an inconsequential difference to you then I don’t know what to tell you.
When I was Younger, I used to think
Libertarian like.
“I shouldn’t push for my values publicly if I don’t want others pushing theirs”
As I age, I realize that values and worldviews don’t exist in a vacuum. If we don’t push for our values, counter values will fill the gaps
