At just 3 years old, Chase has already experienced more hardship than any dog should ever have to endure. When he arrived into our care through the stray system, he was in a heart-breaking condition. His skin was painfully inflamed, sore, and clearly causing him discomfort. It was evident that this lovely boy had not received the care and attention he deserved.
Since arriving with us, Chase has been receiving veterinary treatment and plenty of TLC. With regular medicated baths, a consistent routine, and lots of love, his skin is already beginning to heal and he’s making fantastic progress every day. Despite everything he’s been through, Chase hasn’t lost his faith in people. He is an incredibly affectionate, gentle boy who simply wants to be loved. He greets everyone with a wagging tail and a kind heart, always eager to make friends and be part of the action.
Chase has been friendly with the dogs he has met so far and could happily live with another canine companion. Equally, he would thrive as the only dog in the home where he can enjoy being the centre of attention and soak up all the love for himself. He would be best suited to a home with older children who can understand and respect his boundaries while he continues to grow in confidence. Chase already knows his basic commands and is highly food motivated, making him a pleasure to work with and continue training.
All Chase is asking for is what every dog deserves — a safe home, a comfy bed, and a family who will love him for the rest of his life. After such a difficult start, we’d love nothing more than to see this special boy finally get the happy ending he’s waited so patiently for.
All 8 Below dogs are neutered (if of an appropriate age) microchipped, up to date with parasite treatment, have lifetime support and backup and 5 weeks free insurance plus a lovely 8B collar and lead.

"Am I not a Man? And a Brother?" 🇬🇧🏴
The most famous image of the fight against slavery was made in a Staffordshire pottery.
Josiah Wedgwood was the most famous potter in England. Born in Burslem in 1730, he turned pottery into an industry: division of labour, costed processes, and a heat gauge for his kilns so good the Royal Society made him a Fellow in 1783.
Then he used all of it for something that mattered.
In 1787 he joined the new Society for the Abolition of the Slave Trade, and commissioned a small jasperware medallion: a kneeling African man in chains, hands raised, and 5 words around the rim.
"Am I not a man and a brother?"
He paid for them himself. He never sold one. He gave away thousands, and shipped a batch across the Atlantic to Benjamin Franklin.
People wore them as brooches, hairpins, and snuff boxes. To wear it was to say, without a word, where you stood. It became the badge of the whole movement.
Arguably the first political logo in history. And every ribbon, wristband and awareness pin since traces back to a potter in Staffordshire who decided to use his kiln for something more than dinner plates.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
He could have stuck to selling china to the rich. He chose to hand a movement its face instead.
This is the revival of British culture. Be part of it.

@VoicesofWW2 Very interesting. It’s hard to read, but necessary. It pains me greatly reading about my countrymen and our allies being killed and wounded. The Germans were certainly a formidable enemy.

In regards to the girls in Dundee, Police Scotland released a statement implying that these girls were lying. Politicians, journalists and even feminists dismissed the allegations of assaulting as “far-right, racist” nonsense.
