Heavy fire was showing on multiple units on arrival at this townhouse complex, firefighters acted quickly to knock down the fire and successfully limit the extension to the adjacent units. Excellent work by crews to protect neighbouring units and bring the incident under control.
No injuries reported at this time.
Fire prevention has been requested to assist and determine the cause in origin of the fire.
Preliminary estimates indicate total damage to the affected units may exceed 1 million.

Just after 130am this morning multiple fire crews responded to the 300 block of Grey Street for reported structure fire. Upon arrival cruiser met with heavy smoke and fire. Firefighters did an offensive attack until command, pulled them out due to deteriorating conditions of the building. Firefighters continued on a defensive aerial operation attack. #ldnont ^cs
