@kyirow Kindly differentiate betwn airborne diseases and those spread via aerosols. I'd also like to know from you where you'd classify influenza and common cold. Going by current findings covid 19 can remain viable in air for 3hrs, you'd gt infected by inhaling, what do you say abt this
@PJmwaura ...Also Common cold rhino viruses remain in air more so as droplets for about 3hrs or more, yet they are classified as airborne. Comparing this fact to covid 19, why would you think otherwise?
@PJmwaura Fyi influenza is airborne, covid 19 is also classified as airborne by some govs and organizations as of now. Rem also that covid 19 does not need droplets to be viable and can survive for hours on air and also for days in some surfaces. It's time we all acknowledge its AIRBORNE
@PJmwaura Just like covid 19 common cold spreads through droplets when one sneezes or coughs and yet it is classified as airborne. How would you explain that? Also explain the photo below. Do we need to redefine the word airborne?
@PJmwaura The viral particles can remain suspended upto 3 hours meaning they can also carried by air currents during that time. The viral particles remain viable even after the droplets dry out.
@KBonimtetezi Some medical professionals are misleading the general public. In some instances it can also be AIRBORNE but it's primarily spread through contaminated surfaces.
