We need more door monitors for All-State auditions this Saturday. Email Mr. Prichard if you can help. Time slots are 8:30-12:30, 12:30-4:30, and 2:30-6:00. Alumni and former band students can help!
Our last day is finished. We had a Superior performance at Music in the Parks. Both the Band and Orchestra for 1st place! Then it was time for fun at Six Flags. We are all exhausted and ready to go home, but it was a great trip to Chicago!
The day is complete. We started with some Uber rides while one of our buses got fixed. Had fun at the Lincoln Park Zoo. Saw some cool things at the Field Museum. Went to Navy Pier and had dinner at Margaritaville. One more day left.
Today was another awesome day! Museum of Science and Industry made us all more smarter! π Millenium Park and The Bean was cool. Shopping on Michigan Avenue and dinner at Giordanoβs. Finished it off with Blue Man Group! Even got one of our students on stage & sprayed with paint!
Day 2 was super fun! Lake and River Architecture Cruise with awesome weather. Skydeck at Willis Tower. Medieval Times cheering on the Black and White Knight. Iβm guessing the knight has never gotten so much attention or signed so many autographs. Lots of fun so far!
Day 1 in Chicago was a success! Left 3 minutes early this morning. Dinner at Hard Rock. We were supposed to see the Chicago Symphony with Ben Folds tonight, but it was postponed. Instead, we got a private performance at Comedy Sportz. It was awesome and featured some of our kids.
