You know who didn't sign the Senate resolution condemning China? Senators Alan Peter Cayetano, Rodante Marcoleta, Joel Villanueva, Francis Escudero, Imee Marcos, Ronald dela Rosa, Robin Padilla, Bong Go and Pia Cayetano.
These people claim to be "patriots" who support an independent foreign policy but when push comes to shove and the security forces needs their support, our government institutions need their backing and a foreign aggressor - they are nowhere to be found. Shameful! They speak of institutions that they refuse to defend. How can you trust these people?

The Philippines government should arrest former police chief Ronald ‘Bato’ dela Rosa immediately following the ICC's arrest warrant.

Good morning everyone, all rabid DDS are on loose after receipts of the crimes of their tatay-na-karton resurfaced since the confirmation of charges.
Their apple of the eye is Sheerah Escudero, sister of drug war victim Ephraim Escudero (killed on September 2017)
Thanks, @RegineCabato, for exposing the Pro-China propaganda postings that continuously flood the social media content here in the Philippines. Great job! @PCIJdotOrg
trinity santos singing this hiligaynon lullaby on the pitt is everything to me!!!
"Little one, little one, sleep for now
Your mother is not here, went to the store to buy some bread
Little one, little one, sleep for now."
China.
A Gen Z joined the team.
Week one.
During onboarding, the manager said,
“We sometimes stay late during peak periods.”
Gen Z nodded.
Then asked,
“Is that paid… or just expected?”
The room went quiet.
- No attitude.
- No rebellion.
- Just a question.
Later that day, HR mentioned “growth opportunities.”
Gen Z replied,
“Does growth include raises, or just more responsibility?”
Again, silence.
- No laziness.
- No entitlement.
- Just clarity.
That’s when the team realized something.
When people say
“Gen Z is lazy,”
what they really mean is:
Gen Z watched old generation
- skip meals,
- miss birthdays,
- work weekends,
- and burn out
only to be told
“budgets are tight”
and “be grateful you have a job.”
So Gen Z chose differently.
- They don’t romanticize overwork.
- They don’t confuse suffering with ambition.
- They don’t trade health for praise.
They still work hard.
They just refuse to work for nothing.
It’s not laziness.
It’s pattern recognition.
And honestly,
after everything old generation went through…
Can you really blame them?
Koko Pimentel’s mastery of the Senate Rules - invoking that the motion should be put in writing - have always forced Chiz and Alan to follow him not just once but multiple times.
That’s the difference between a bar topnotcher and Alan/Chiz.

Naging Law School nalang bigla yung the whole senate impeachment trial at nag lecture nalang about sa law si Sen.

Atty. Gilbert Andres: Okay. 2 dahilan po.
Una, refers po to a state party. Now, the operative fact is, we’re not anymore a state party sa ICC Rome Statute. Therefore, Article 59 will NOT anymore take effect.
Secondly, it’s being invoked before a Philippine court. But remember, only Philippine domestic law can be invoked before Philippine domestic courts, such as the PH Supreme Court.
It does not have the legal effect of Philippine law because we are not anymore a state party.
So, parang poetic justice po ito.
These are actually the unforeseen legal consequences of Mr. Duterte withdrawing from the ICC Rome Statute without Senate concurrence.
-- Atty Gilbert Andres is one of the rare breed of filipino lawyers that is accredited by the ICC and is currently living at The Hague.
